Ill look for a 6.0 or a 5.3. I can build it at my dads and keep it on a stand till I'm ready to put it in.

now that someone said something. One of the techs at work has a 98 c-1500 with the V6 and I call him BM Alex(Bitch motor), he don't like it, but everyone else laughs at him, so I guess it is ok. :jester:

Intake, exhaust, and lower the back an inch or two and the 4.3 will be good enough.

My parents had an 01 V6 and it's more than enough around town just ran out of steam at high speeds with a head wind or going up hill. It's still a great engine truck engine though just because they run and run and run with simple maintenance. No DOHC, VVT, AFM, DI, etc. just a good ol' fashion work horse.
