MOAR PROBLEMS. 
Who'd have thunk a 23-year-old ski that hadn't been started in 6 years would have problems?
Replaced the muffler last night and I have no more water leaking into the hull and no more smoke leaking out of it either. BUT, I do have a clear exhaust leak somewhere else that I couldn't see due to the previous leak which means I'm going to have to pull the engine to fix. I went ahead and ordered a gasket set, a carb rebuild kit and some new reeds while I was at it. So far, I'm up to about $400.
A little at a time but it'll get there.
