I am pretty set on Bilsteins but can be swayed. Also wondering if I do Bilsteins, do I do 5100 series or the HD truck shocks?

Let's get some opinions up in here! What have you tried and liked and what have you hated?

I haven't see anybody suggest anything better than the Bilsteins (especially for the front) on any site I frequent. Rears are pretty easy to replace with a number of brands.

The rears are in real need of replacing but the fronts I believe are still ok. They are OEM Ranchos.

I really like the KYBs for the rear. I used them extensively on my Jeeps. They are great shocks.

I wasn't seeing any KYB shocks for my truck. :dunno:

Should I replace all 4 or just the rears?

From what I have heard, the fronts are good for about 75K. Pretty typical. I don't know if the KYBs are listed foe our trucks, but the Bilsteins are almost impossible to beat if the cost doesn't scare you away.

A quick search on Tirerack doesn't list any KYBs. Sorry about that.

I hate this fucking key on any keyboard - ;

Well I am about to run over 75k on my truck so I may as well replace them all.

Should I just go with the HD Truck shock from Bilstein or should I go 5100. I don't know the real difference other than the 5100 are for lifted trucks.

Cool, thanks Jim!

I just bumped it because I figured there are a ton of guys that have opinions on this topic and it didn't have to be the :zembonez: and :wookie: show :lol:
