I'm betting the wheels themselves are worth more than $700, and they're a really good looking wheel. The 50% tread tires are a freebie for that. Gives you time to save for new tires

as other people have said the wheels alone should be close to 700, even if you bought them and did not like, you could resell them and make a small profit on craigslist...if you werent so fucking far I would buy those for my hoe!

$700 sounds like a good price to me. But, if they've been sitting a while, he's probably getting tired of taking them back & forth to the flea market. So, you might be able to get him down some. Offer him $500 and maybe you can snag 'em for $600.. That'll help defray any expense you might have to put into fixing that one..

If I were you, I would also look them over REAL GOOD again before buying them. If no one else has picked 'em up at $700, they might be seeing something wrong with the wheels you haven't noticed yet. Good luck!
