Application Recommendation
AMSOIL Arctic Synthetic Grease is recommended for industrial machinery, heavy-duty automotive and industrial equipment, chassis, bearings, off-road and heavy equipment operating in arctic climates.

Compatibility
AMSOIL Arctic Synthetic Grease is compatible with many other types of greases. However, it is recommended that when changing greases, the equipment be cleaned of the old grease when possible or flushed with a liberal amount of Arctic Synthetic Grease while the mechanism is in operation. Closely monitor the system for any inconsistencies. Grease compatibility questions should be referred to your AMSOIL representative or AMSOIL INC.

Yeah, right now my guys take Valvoline synthetic tubes with them on road calls, in hand guns just in case they have to grease anything. It actually flows in cold weather. Some of that NLGI #2 stuff gets so thick they can't even squeeze the handle.

I have 2 service trucks that keep drums of grease on them for specific customers, and we keep a Chevron DELO #1 on those trucks year-round.

A quarter drum of synthetic would be so expensive, I would have to charge 500 bucks to grease a Peterbilt :jester:

That is interesting. Thanks for the info. I'm always open to how the maintenance world works in all types of environments.

As you already know our Signature Series flows down to -60° F. The Interceptor 2 stroke oil flows down to -40° F for those running sleds. :)
