In Iowa it is $50 one time fee, and an extra $5 per year after that.

I like it though!

I can't remember if we paid an upfront fee for our vanity plates, but they are only $12.95 to renew after that.

Registration here is 60-70 bucks a year... PLUS the cost of the vanity plate ($250 in this case for five years).

Yeah my reg is 65, plus the $40 per year on top of that.

So it's not too far off what you will pay, 40 bucks a year for 5 would be close to what it is now
