Of course, you are right. I promise, I will never again confound these cars.
The point was more, how one design is sold an resold. If you look at the minicars from Citroën, Fiat, Peugot and Mitsubishi: they are almost identical. Only the logo and - perhaps - the headlights differ a bit.

Other than the dip in the front door belt line I see no resemblance with the F150. :dunno:

Though, if you'd have slapped a Ford badge on it before they released the actual 15 F150 I'd easily believe it was one.

The current one? No. But, going back a few years? Yeah, the grille reminds me some of certain trim levels in the F-150's that were around when Nissan probably took their "inspirations" for the new Titan. :lol:

IIRC the Cummins V8 was initially developed in a 5.6L version intended to replace the ISB5.9 in the Dodge Ram, with a 4.2L V6 targeted to the half-ton.
