Well, I went and did it. I got the 91 jetta turbo diesel up for sale and it is amazing on the amount of interest I'm getting for it. Asking $1,500 for it.

I just purchased a 2014 Chevy Cruze Diesel. It has 13k miles on it. Got it for for a good price considering the paperwork that was left in the glove box shows that it was sold for $30 back in July of 2013. I got it for $18k.

The 64 mile drive home from Cary was nice and the dic showed that I got 50mpg. Not bad for cruising 77 mph.

Got home late so I will get pictures tomorrow if the weather is nice.

Basically it is loaded, with blind spot alert, heated seats, Pioneer stereo system with amp. What it doesn't have and kind of sucks is memory seats, homelink, (I use it ) sucks to have a garage door opener hang from the visor, and navigation.

Now to see how long it takes before I have to fill up the DEF tank. Oh and Dennis, I will not turn it off when it is in regen!

Oh and the person that had it before me I sent an e-mail to, to ask what is wrong with it if anything. They already took the Cruze and LT off the trunk like, did a shitty job so I need to fix the scratches on that. The windows are also tinted at 35% per NC law so that is a plus.

Going to go 2k on this oil, which the dealer said they changed and then start from there with my used oil analysis to see how things are going inside this beast. :)

I'll agree about the Homelink. I'm big on it since every vehicle I've tried with it disables power to it after a period of time so no one can break in and open the garage if parked outside.

And something must be wrong with my internet or computer, I'm not seeing any pictures. :jester:

Very cool Nick, I have always liked diesels.. I had a couple of Cadillac diesels back in the early 80's and an Olds diesel..

I tried to buy a Cruze Diesel last year, but the Chevy dealership WAY low-balled me on the Outback. So, I told 'em to keep it and I bought the Accord instead.

Congrats!

But, uhhh... :worthless:

I'm liking it. Plenty of power over our gaser Cruze.

Got a few things to do like LED interior lights. Factory bulbs are so dim.

Also looking at installing a Homelink. That way I don't have to deal with the remote opener on my visor.

The tinted windows were a plus.
