New dash installed

As many of you may or may not know, the dash cracked in my 07 GMT900 silverado. After some research I found this is a common issue in the 07s. GM later fixed it in the 08 trucks and SUVs.

After doing the research, I found that GM has been covering the repair for a nber of people and found Louis with GM customer service on chevyforum.com. He started a case for me and got me started in the right direction. Sent me to my closest Chevy dealership and got te ball rolling. When all was said and done GM covered the entire repair and washed my truck for me.

I am very pleased with the outcome. I was so worried about rattles and squeaks. So far so good. Not a single noise out of it.

My plan is to buy new molding and actually remove them at that point.
