I remember when the Avalanche came out... I was horrified! Then a couple of friends got them... and they grew on me. Now they look normal.

I was a huge fan of the GMT800 from the day it came out. I had a red excab the first week they hit the ground. I got asked more questions about that truck at lights, gas stations, etc. because nobody had ever seen one.

They were a come out of nowhere pleasant surprise for a lot of people

I know a lot of people took awhile to look at the GMT900s

We can hope for learned lessons . Atleast the I5 is dead so it's almost guaranteed to have the HF 3.6 and to me the interior looks nicer than the competition too.

I honestly don't know what's so wrong with the inline-5...

But wouldn't expect anything but the HF V6 replacing it. As far as entry-level versions, I would expect either some updates to the 2.8L or the same 2.5L out of the 2012 Malibu with some mods to have a few more torque (sacrificing some power but still enough)...
