Maybe I missed something but why didn't you put the reel light in the stock location?

there was no stock location on my truck, and i cant put it in the stock location cause that thing off the airbox would be where it went,

it was mounted from the factory with self tapping screws too

My '91 '400 had one stock so I guess I assumed all '400's had 'em. Cool either way, and handy!

yea that seemed to be the best spot, it looks out of place since the whole engine bay is full of crap.

my 90 was a lot simpler lol there wasnt half of that stuff in it

well i still dont have the differential.. pretty pissed about that apparently it takes 5 days to sandblast and paint a differential...

but i did order my tires today. Got them for $565.71 for all 4 :) even lower than what i thought but they are on backorder and i wont have them for 3 weeks, thats fine cause i wasnt going to put them on for a couple months anyways..

i also got my u-bolts today.

tomorrow is supposed to be the day im putting the diff in but idk if i will be able to or not since the sandblasters are so fucking slow

Good buy on the tires. The diff will get done in time.

Thanks for putting out the cards.

so just a couple more pics to look at...

front diff parts:

i cut the Fabtech U-Bolts down from 10" to 8 3/4" so it wouldnt stick out the bottom so much when i put the differential in. i just put some extra 9/16 fine thread nuts on about 2" up then used the chop saw, then rounded the egdes with a belt sander, and i gave them a light coat of paint.

just playing around with a calculator on the internet and found out some stuff about new gears and tires..

3.42's - 31.7" Tire - 1522 RPM
3.73's - 32.9" Tire - 1600 RPM

And for a couple months

3.73's - 31.7" Tire - 1660 RPM

My Firestones are 31.7" tall and the Procomps i bought are 32.9" tall, so i will really get better fuel mileage with the bigger tires lol

or i should say the truck will have more power at the same speed than with 3.42's and current tires, not by much but enough.

and i figured the 60 mph since that is what i set my cruise at to work everyday, 55mph speed limit and about 12 miles 1 way
