That would be sick! but kinda defeats the purpose of having a one of a kind racetrack over in Germany. I would think the Nurburgring guys will really try to not let this happen.

The Nurburgring is on verge of being shut down due to lack of tourism, low income from the track and the adjoining "Theme Park".

I think that was only a rumor a few years ago.

It's on it's way to be saved but it's not quite there yet.

If any one can do it,it would be him...He has a bunch of the tracks now...I use to work for one of his dealerships

I think it's crazy (and a bit dumb) to try and copy any other racetrack, much less the 'ring. Why not just build a world class road course and call it done?

Because that's been done. This will draw more revenue.

It might have an initial surge of interested people, but without a major sanctioning body hosting a big race there, it would fold. It costs too much to operate a huge facility like that. They can't do it like the 'ring here. There you can run out and kill yourself (and many have) without much in the way of medical assistance. Liability laws here would make that impossible unless there was a staff of medics on staff.

As soon as one person bites it, the place would close.
