I may have a tvs1900 that will fit it for sale soon. Still some decisions to be made, but if it's something you would be interested in I'll let you know first.

Hmmmm, I was thinking about regearing from 3.73 to 4.30.... but a supercharger might make this truck a bit more fun. :drool:
Being blown is fun. Another thing to consider would be cam, converter and a tune. Its a good investment.

Yeah my original plan was gears and looking into cam/tune for targetting low end towing power. Did some quick research and it seems like the blower helps with towing as well, but i have more to do to see what gets me the best end result.

There's not much for cams that increase low end torque on these trucks... However the HE351 turbo from a 5.9 Cummins will have 2 PSI of boost at idle on a 5.3 ;)

That's the initial impression I got.... seems the LY6 already has pretty good numbers and a tune to eliminate TM goes a long way. Plus it was the vvt to deal with. But ive only half ass researched any of this because I was planning on a slight lift first

A small Maggie is about the best thing you will do for towing. That and gears. I hit 9-10 psi quick. Especially since I had Justin adjust when and how long the converter stays locked. Let's it get into and stay in boost longer.
