E rated tires are rough riders. Many people go back with standard LT tires. The Michelins are badass but they are pricey.

I hear you. For utilitys sake I'd almost like to stay with an E rating. Hell who knows.

I'm looking at the transforcer that scott recommended, I've seen them before and they werent my fav, but I'm also looking at every other brand and pricing.

Damn, I cant find any E rated tires on tire rack, size 265/75/16 for less than $150ish.

What would be a good regular tire load rating I could use? Damn I dont think I'll need a 10 ply E.....

Unless you plan to haul super heavy shit, you really don't need to pay extra for E rated tires. Seriously.

Word. So what rating could I buy? Or what is the norm, is what I'm asking

E for 2500s, but a C will get you by. It's your truck and you know what you are going to do with it. C is what most LT tires on half tons are.

Any 265-75-16 is going to be made for a truck or heavy SUV. Some are rated C or D. Some are just called standard.
