Since nobody really stepped up to run the game this year, I've created a group on Fox Fantasy Racing. Let them do all the hard work

Seems pretty simple, pick 5 drivers for each race, get points based on their performance. One driver is "Captain" and scores double points. You can only pick each driver 4 times for each ~1/3 of the season. Regular season is split in half, then the 10 Chase races. The Chase is scored the same as the rest of the season, I believe. (Maybe I should actually read all those rules) You can pick the next week's drivers as soon as the current week's race starts.

After you sign up and get to the "create group or pick your team" part, look for a "Group" menu. Select Group > Join Group. Enter TruckModCentral in the "name" box and click Search.

Click TruckModCentral.
Enter the password.
Done.

Well, almost. Now, go pick your drivers for the first race!

This part may trip some of you up, but I think it will make picking more interesting.

The season is broken into segments of 13, 13 and 10 races. The same driver can be used a maximum of four times per segment. This rule is important as it should play a role in building your roster strategy.

More strategy. No "groups" to pick from. Etc.

It seemed like a fairly simple set up, no drafting, no "team budget", pick 5 guys and you're done. Plus, your picks carry over from week to week, so if you forget, you'll still make some points- unless your drivers are past their four races.

Also worth noting- no one else can see who you've picked until the race starts.

For the WHOLE season? No, you can't pick one driver or set of drivers for the WHOLE season. As the rules state (and this is why I pointed it out in my post), "The same driver can be used a maximum of four times per segment." "The season is broken into segments of 13, 13 and 10 races." So, you could pick Harvick 4 times in first 13 races, 4 times in the next 13, and 4 more times in the last 10.

That doesn't mean you can't pick team mates of Harvicks or Joe's favorite guy just to annoy him, though.

Click sign-up and sign up for it, Jeff! It's not a TMC site. The group name he gave and password is for AFTER you get signed-up, so they can email you reminders, results, and what have you.

It's not that hard, really. Trust me on this.

Wait for them to send you a confirmation email, click the link they included in that, and then follow the instructions I gave for joining the TMC group.
