he really loves his four grandsons ages 11mo, 2 yr, 3 yr, and 4yr.

Congrats on the kids man, my suggestion is build the truck if she wants it, but since the truck is going to be literally ripped apart and have obviously no warranty...then just buy a used one and the cash you save set up a college fund for your kids.

ill tell yah one thing.... to buy a used one would be 9000 times smarter. Around here we take trucks that have either flood damage... been wrecked... salvage titles and so fourth.. and turn them into the monsters... because they are CHEAP!! Bling.. the truck my friend owns.. the big black one... he got that truck and it was a Body, frame, and drivetrain. All the suspension had been ripped out from under it and such. BUT the truck only has like 30,000 miles... so a great drivetrain and inteior and stuff. Thats the way i would go personally. Speaking from experience here. lookat this this pic you would never know it was bought in that shape.

because lets face it... you buy a new truck.. and lift it that high... you WILL NOT use ANY of the stock parts you just bought.. and resale of the parts isnt all that good cause there are tons of F-250 parts available. honestly going that high, i hope that whoever does the work puts a nice 4 link cage under the truck, yal do your homework and get a drop transfer case, so your driveshaft angles arent rediculous, put a NICE set of shocks under it.. preferablly coil overs, with nice sway bars front and rear, and put some heavy axles under it. because little axles WILL NOT take the abuse from 49's.

we will look into getting a used 08 or 09...we really like those interiors and wern't planning on changing much as far as that goes...

As for axels...i think they come with a dana 60 in front and 80 in rear...are those large enough axels for 49's?

If you want to take a look at the quality of work of the company we will be using go to this addy... www.bncoffroad.com

they have their own patent for their custom lifts and all the work i have seen has been impecable...

im not sure how drastic the drive shaft angles will be since we are going with the lowest possible lift that will comfortably fit the 49's...im thinking 20-22...whats your imput
