Well I thought I would put a small pictorial of how far my truck has come in a year. All this mess started because of a check engine light.
So here we go.
This led me to this:
Where I found the info I needed to clear my CEL and keep it gone, but while there I met these guys.
They invited me here.
So here's what I started with all because of the dreaded GM MIL code P0449.
Bone stock, Chevrolet Silverado 2006, Crew Cab, Z71, 5.3 liter, 4X4, LT3. Purchased by me brand new in the fall of '05.
First was the Vette servo.
Then the Banks Ram Air CAI.
Flowmaster cat-back SI/DO.
Then there was the tune.
The LED conversion and Simco LTD. instrument cluster overlay.
The de-badging.
The leveling shackles.
Color matched bow tie.
Color matched mirror caps.
Color-matched handles.
Rear block removal and torsion bar key change.
Plus removal of the steps gave me this stance.
Installed a Carriage Works billet grille along the way.
More next post.
