:( :( :(

That SUCKS man. What does it need? Bumper and fender? Anything messed up suspension wise?
It needs a bumper, fender, core support, lights and the plastic header panel. It doesnt look like the suspension got messed up, just the tire.

Very sorry to hear Jose. It was insured wasn't it?
I have liability but not full coverage. My friend said to just give him the bill. :dunno:
Well if he wants to make it right, I would either send it his way or offer to split the cost. :dunno:
I'm doing a lot of the labor myself so he's mostly paying for parts and the paint job. If we would have gone to a shop it could easily be a $3k bill so I'm trying to keep it under $1500 to help him out.

It's not heaven . . . it's Iowa!
$1500 isn't too bad of a price really. I had my truck backed into in December with minor fender damage. It passed that amount pretty quickly!

I don't mean to be a downer, but.. If your friend can't fix his own vehicle, how's he going to pay the bill to fix yours? :uhoh:

He cant figure out whats wrong with his car. He's been throwing money at it but no one can figure out whats wrong with it. I think he has a bad ground messing up his ignition. He was trying to buy me a new set of tires for the bronco since he was using it but I told him I didnt need them. Now he can spend the tire money on getting it fixed.

I'm using all my contacts and calling every favor people owe me to get it at $1500 or lower. If I go to a pick your parts yard I could save even more but I dont have the time to go pull the parts myself. I know that just the paint at any shop is gonna run $1000 but I have an ex employee thats gonna do all the paint work. I could really be jerk and upgrade some stuff on his dime like better lights and fiberglass fenders and keep it under $2000 but I cant do it with a good conscience.

Oh, ok.. Well, that's good.. I misread what you said and thought that he couldn't fix his car because of a lack of funds.. I'm glad that's not the case!

He's one of my friends from church so I know he's good for it. Its not like he's family... He's been going through some rough stuff lately so thats why I decided to help him out by letting him borrow the Bronco. This was the last thing he needed, poor guy.
