I'm ordering my 4-6" Cognito kit as soon as I see a sale, OR June, whichever comes first (installing when my wife/kids are out of school so there's no point in ordering now).

Anyway, I've yet to find a wheel combination I really like for my GMT900 2500 series Yukon. I'm thinking of going with more of a "workhorse" look. Some 17's with 33s or 35s (seeing if I can fit the 35s after the lift, if not i'll stick with 33s)

This is the vision:

My thought.... something like this:

Am I crazy??:dunno:

Side note: for those that don't know, it's been over a decade since i've run anything smaller than 18s, and ive NEVER purchased a polished wheel, so this would be a HUGE change for me :ohnoes:

If everything fits, clearance-wise, backspacing-wise, etc., GO FOR IT! If you don't like 'em, you can always change 'em!

Size should be spot on. I currently have 18x9 +18mm with 305/65/18, no lift and no rub (i'm an expert trimmer :D)

The MTs are 17x9 +0mm, which would be fine with my current tire size based on current clearance. And the 33x12.5s are a very minor step up in size. So with about 5" lift, I'm thinking the 35x12.5s may fit alright. If not, i'll set the lift to the minimum height for nice flat angles and keep the 33s

It sounds like you've thought it through. I'm sure others will chime in with their experiences.

Good luck and post pics!

I'm thinking about doing the same thing to a Tahoe. My titan dosnt have the room to carry the kids around anymore.
