Motorcycle/ATV Oil Filter Cross Refrence - Good info here

This list should be useful for you guys with motorcycles or ATVs. Found this website while I was trying to find an oil filter locally for my Yamaha Grizzly. Normally, if you look up oil filters for your bike, you're likely to only find filters that are specific to motorcycles. This list cross references those filters to ordinary automotive filters, which are a lot easier to find, usually cheaper, and often better. I managed to find a higher-capacity filter for my Grizzly at about half the price of my usual filter choice at my local Walmart thanks to this.

That is pretty cool. The site needs to be updated, AMSOIL has not had an SMF filter in over 8 years. They now carry the EaOM filter for motorcycles and ATV's.

That is true, it looks like the website hasn't had a major update since about 2003.

That is what I have done in the past. Like I said, it only shows motorcycle specific filters (at least for my Grizzly) and unfortunately doesn't have a match for some of our ATVs.
