So my Mom has a 2002 Buick Rendezvous that she's had since 2003 or 2004. It's been a nice car but she's starting to get tired of it. I think the worst problem was she couldn't get heat in the winter. The local guy has looked at that literally dozens of times. (new t-stats, checked blend actuators, cabin filters, fans, flux capacitor, you name it).
Anyways, she'd been casually looking at the Chevy Traverse and Buick Enclaves. She didn't like either of them very much but then discovered the GMC Acadia. She mentioned over the past few months she's wanting to get something this spring. I was talking to her Monday night and she was looking at one online. I get a text last night that they were driving back with it!
It's a 2011 with 25k on it. It was FWD which was her sticking point (gas and maintenance costs mainly). My dad's latest truck is 4x4 so they can get around during a blizzard. And it is only a SLT1, but appears to have most of the bells and whistles.
I snagged a few pictures of the dealer web page
