Memorial Day fail..

On memorial day Me and a couple buddys went boating and i pulled them on the tube awhile... And At the end of the day we strapped the tube to the back of the boat.. on the ski pole... And i guess the tube kinked the fuel line.... Causing one cylinder to run lean...When i got home i pulled the tube off the boat and seen the kinked line... And it ran perfect after that.... so i thought i fixed it

So i pulled the spark plugs...To replace them... hadnt did that this year... And when i did that .. luckily the threads came out with the plug... So i had to pull the head and replace it... When i pulled the head i found that i had burnt a piston almost down ...

I have been looking for someone to rebuild this pig cheaply.... and cant find anyone... Everyone i find wants to put all new pistons and everything new... But my engine already has new wiseco pistons... and has 121 to 125 psi on all cylinder.. and pistons are like 700 bucks.. its going to cost like 2800 after they completly ovehaul it...

So i havent been on the water... and have been looking for used cheap motors.....

Well when i bought my boat last july... My buddy told me he was going to buy a boat also... (hes got lots of money).... So before i found one in my price range... He goes out and buys a super nice 2003 18 foot Nitro....Beautiful boat... Mercury 150 on it... Finally a few weeks later i found my boat... for like 1/3 of the price he gave for his...

First weekend i took my boat out.. we was sitting a beach swimming and i seen his boat start pumping water out of the bildge...I asked him what was up with that.. and he said when he stops really fast water comes in the back .... Well we sit there and drink a few beers... and i noticed that thing kicking on like 5 times.. and pumping TONS of water out... So i go up to his boat to feel if that asshat got the plug in.. Sure enough it was in... I told him his boat was leaking water somewhere.. And he assured me i was wrong...

I looked at the transom of the boat and the metalflake was cracking BAD....I told him right then that his transoms was busted....But then again... What do i know... Ive only been on the water for 24 years.. and this was like his 10th time ever being on the water lol...

Well i blew a piston a month ago.... And about the same time he hits something..and bust a prop... Well the insurance comes back and said there totalling the boat because the transom is busted...

And i just bought the motor and trailer for 2400 bucks

This is my buddys old boat.... That is going to the insurance company scrap yard lol.... I bought everything but the hull for 2400!!
