Are you going to put a 4" tip on it anyway, Tobias? You can just use a piece of pipe (a bell), even though it is hidden, it will give you some sound.

I did this with my '98, which had the FM 70 like Jim's, and finally ended up with (2) 4" tips, and it gave it a nice deep rumble over the 3" bare pipe ends.

Just a thought.

Not a bad thought either. I'll have to see about that.

I hate it when stuff doesn't show up.

My FM70 is too quiet. You almost cant even hear it from inside the truck.

Really? Well, mine was hooked to a 7.4 Vortec, and was definitely not quiet.

I played around with tips, since I had to have both pipes changed when I added my RideRites, and I went with the 4" tips, that made it louder.

Damn....better fuel mileage???

I should've bought a Magnaflow instead!

Ebay that junky ass Corsa, and come play with the cool kids.

What?

:jester:

How you been, Matt?

Hey man. Doing great. Works been hectic but trying to stay caught up on things around this joint as much as possible. :tmc:

Tobias, when you post pics of the install, would you mind throwing up a few pics of how they run the piping to tuck it? I'm starting to appreciate the clean look of no tip being visible. It looks like you are planning something similar to what Jim did to Fred. I think that's the ticket for me also.
