Matt just wants to show you guys that GM and Dodge are owning the automobile industry, and Ford is behind those two manufacturers.

Right, Matt?

Ford's just skeered!

:uhoh:

The Mustang doesn't stand a chance against the Camaro, or the orgasmic Challenger. The F-150 has a boat anchor of an engine. The PowerChoke is a disgrace to diesel engines. The all new Grand Cherokee blows away the Exploder.

Ford sucks, right, Matt?

I fail to see the good looking part anywhere on that car. :dunno:

It looks like a warmed over Stratus... and that was a giant piece of shit car.

1. It looks nothing like a Stratus
2. The front end is very aggressive and in your face
3. It's a fantastically good effort from Dodge considering what they started with.

The hood doesn't bother me as much as the rear. The rear just screams 2000ish Dodge. Nothing new about that. Sure they changed the taillights a bit and a few tweaks but the change isn't near as radical as the front end. I'm not knocking Dodge any, its just a mid-size car, no one makes one particularly 'exciting', do they? :dunno: Look at the Malibu...blah.

None of them are "exciting"...but this Avenger looks properly aggressive...

Actually, that new Sonata looks to be an absolute stellar car. It exudes quality from every surface...and that turbo motor is very good. I would never buy one...because it is still being driven by the wrong wheels and has 4 cylinders missing...but it's by far the best car in the class.

I'll take a Malibu anyday thank you... and I wouldn't mind driving one of these "boring" cars as well....

My mom has had a '97 Stratus since new and we've never had a problem with it. Trans went out around 120k (stupid Chrysler still can't get transmissions to last) and the head gasket was replaced a few months after we bought it (was under warranty and was a recall). Now recently it has been running really ruff, but that's with 160k.

I hated the "old" interior. It was WAY too bulky for me and looked like it was designed by a 2-year-old with cheap materials. The "new" interior looks like a good improvement. Not all that bad a car, but with their track record with transmissions, I'd still pass. My dad has bought Dodge since he started buying cars (Plymout Horizon x2 '79 & '87, Dodge Caravan '86, Dodge Stratus '97, Dodge Neon '02, Dodge Grand Caravan '03). He says he's not brand loyal, they just have what he's looking for. However, if they still have the 10yr/100k mi warranty, why not!

Dodge still needs to come out with a cheap, small starter car. They had the Neon which has been dead since like '04 or something. Ford has the Focus and GM has the Cobalt/Cruze. I just think Dodge is missing a part of the market.

I'll stick with my midsized sedan that will still have excellent resale value in 3, 4 or 5 years (and still be running flawlessly).

You could not give me a Chrysler car.
