I hear yah on that one. My buddy in GM school had one.. that thing was at the dealer every other month under warranty. Radiator went out 2 times.... rear end locked up I guess from some over heating problem... and many other things... I know this because I would pick him up from the dealer to take him to school for the day.... lol.

JUNK!

I knew this subject would draw out our resident Taco Man!

Hey Moe!

:D

:tmc:
I'd like to hear about your impression with yours so far!

Quite happy with it so far.I have found however that I get way better gas milage using 91 octane than the 89 octane.I realize that 91 cost more but I don't have a long commute to work and back like some people do.I just rolled 15000km yesterday and I've had it just over the year now. Toyota changed the stereo system for 2012 as you know and I wish they had have done that in 2011 as my system sucks, thats about the only complaint I have.Jim,I think you would be better off with 4x4 vs 2wd though as you sit a lot higher.Oh Wait....You LOWERED your Sierra  Skip the last part.

my brother has a 05 taco, extended cab, TRD off road package, 2wd, V6 and 6sp. he claims to get better mpg with 91 than 87...I tried it, for a couple tanks I ran 91 and got consistantly ~17-18. with 87 for a couple tanks and pulling a 16ft flat bed trailer lightly loaded for 1/2 a tank I still averaged out to 19.

what kind of mpg are you getting out of your new one?
