Looking at buying my first truck

I'm really liking it and have plans for exhaust, tint, and a tune at some point.

If the wheels are in good shape sell them quick, they pit real bad and the chrome peels. Just saying, they are a plastic cover....

Do they really get that bad? I've tossed around the idea of getting them powder coated, but if it won't take I'll have to look into new wheels. Thanks for the heads up.
