Got my Doug Thorley headers and y-pipe on yesterday and made a y-pipe and ran the pipe up to the mufflers today. Gotta finish over the axles and rest tomorrow. I have a short video with the mufflers quality really sucks on my phone though. It's very loud :D unlike the video. Install was very easy, fit great with no problems, and only took about 3.5hrs.

Video specs- half throttle for the first part then about 3/4 throttle. There was to much traffic and stopping to get a good video. I'll post some more in here once it's done and some pics.

Installed my long tube headers and magnapacks this week. And drove around two days with it like that with no tail pipe. Sound good but had a little rattle when accelerating. Installed the rest of my exhaust lastnight and drove it down the road. It sounds good up to 2k rpm then gets a popping like glass packs. What could be causing this? How can I fix it? Everything it tight and welded solid

When I accelerate it makes an extremly loud popping. Starts at about 2k and up I'm wondering if it due to not enough back pressure maybe? Sounds like an older Chevy with glass packs. Thought the mufflers might be on backwards but they aren't directional and it didn't do this until I added the tail pipe after the mufflers and tips. I have no idea what could be causing this. I might just have to go to a single in dual out oval muffler that's more mellow idk.

The Magnapacks are a pretty straight through design right? If you're wanting something less raspy and mellow you'll probably have to go with some sort of chambered muffler.

I'll get some pictures tomorrow and I never had the popping with my old magnapacks just wondering if the longs tube headers are to much air flow and messing up the sound quality
