Two choices really, find a good shop that can re-use your factory cats and fab a new Y pipe or go true duals with the factory cats.

Or, get a set of aftermarket cats and have the exhaust made up.

I would suggest sticking with the factory cats because you want to stay legal. If you go with high flow cats you will almost certainly need to have your rear O2 sensors turned off in the tune.

I left mine turned on and have battled trying to keep the P0430/ P0420 code from coming back. Such a pain in the ass... I've tried about every internet trick that I've read about and it works for a while and then the code comes back. I should have just had them turned OFF.

Leak tested the exhaust and all kinds of bullshit, new O2's and finally said screw it. :fingertime:

Thanks Jarrod! I'm going to try to reuse the stock cats. I don't think I'm pushing enough power to change. If I decide to cam it or stick a blower on I will upgrade then.

I'm excited to try these Tri Ys out.

Dr. Bob, you can probably go with green cats, the cost is high but then you might have better luck custom fitting the exhaust. A bunch of us Camaro owners go with green cats when going to long tube headers so we can still pass emissions. Just a thought.

I'm still on the fence as to go with LTH and green cats. That is $2500 I don't have to spend right now, especially with the holidays coming and us remodeling our kitchen.

Thanks man! I am going to look into those. Trying to figure out all my options now. I don't really want to get $2500 tied up in the exhaust either.
