I am feeling better. But I had some soul searching to do after some events from Christmas thru the New Years. That's long winded though so I won't go there now.
Yes, Bleu kept me pretty warm. We were very prepared for what we were doing. Drove up to the avalanche zone then hiked about 10 miles up to the ice fields. Unfortunately, the camera ate the batteries and I just have a few from the ice. The only reason they are locking the gates is because of people dragging out deadfall without a permit. But my pass was still posted in the box and at the Ranger station. They come to open the gate at about 2 AM or so. And there is a fire pit with wood there also.
