unlike the Ford, on the Silverado I had to drill the bumper.Also I opted to install a dual battery setup that I used on my truck.
I bought the solenoid and made up the #4 wire harness. Solder up the bulk wire to fit
Using shrink tube and #4 eye’s on the end of the wire. I bet I had only $60 in the solenoid, wire and connectors. I wired a keyed hot to the solenoid and then ran the 4 gauge wire from the stock battery to the solenoid. I measured and cut the wire to the proper length. Then I slipped the shrink tube for both ends onto the wire. After I had tinned the wire ends I then soldered the big eyes onto the end of the wire cable. Once the wire ends cooled down I then slid the shrink tube over the soldered portion of the ends and heated the shrink tube to fit. Of course I made the cable from the solenoid to the aux battery in the same manner.
I also made a ground strap from the second battery to the block and body.
This way the new light won’t kill the starting battery and my son in-law can enjoy his new lights without the fear of killing his starting battery.

Factory would be nice! I talked to the dealer. He said the price for the kit was
a lot more than what I invested. I know the system I installed will work fine.
We saved more than $150.00 not counting labor. My son in law only paid me $60 for the parts.
I installed the light bar , Lights, and dual battery solenoid and wiring.
