"Disaster" is overstating it. But, it was by far the most frustrating trip I've taken in a long, long time..

It happens, though!

At least I wasn't at work! AND I have two days to get my head right before returning to work!

I did! I showed him the email on the phone. He claimed "the transaction was started, but never completed. We're all booked up! Sorry!" I said some unkind things and left. I checked Priceline for some other places to stay in the area and decided "f' it. Things haven't gone right the whole damn time I've been gone. I'm going home, sleeping in my bed, and not going any damn place else except to get the dog until I go back to work on Tuesday!"

The wife and kids want to go to either the Outer Banks, or Hilton Head for the 4th of July. I told them I'd rather put a bullet in my head.

Did you check if they charged your card for a deposit. I've had that happen before.

I'm through talking about this until I call Priceline and find out WTF happened. I checked last night and didn't see the charge. But, I just found the charge.......

Wellllll, this is frustrating and embarrassing.

I saw the address, saw a Q in the name, and went to La Quinta, because I've stayed there a few times before. The reservation was actually with Quality Inn, not La Quinta.

And since it was pre-paid and I was a no-show, I paid for a fWONking room that I'm sure they eventually rented out to someone else. So, they got paid TWICE for that fWONking room!
