Whats going on with Stewart/Haas? Aside from Harvick, they're all doing pretty poorly. Best driver this week was Danica in 21st. Was adding a 4th team too much?

Tony? I think he's still getting back into the rhythm of things. Kurt Busch? :dunno: Danica? Finishing best for SHR? :rollin:

It's the bonus that made the difference. It's explained on one of the rules pages.

Kenseth started 29th, so he gets 19 bonus points for moving up in position. Brad only advanced one spot from his start so he only gets one bonus point. Both led a lap so both get one point for that.

BK- 46 pt for 1st, 1 pt for leading a lap, 1 pt for leading most laps, 1 pt for each position advanced (started 2nd)= 49 pts total
MK- 34 pts for 10th place, 1 pt for leading a lap, 19 pts for moving up (started 29th)= 54 pts

I also made Matt my Captain, so he scored double=108 pts.

If you go to your team home page, just above the driver's pictures on the right is says "Scoring help" in yellow, click on that and a box will pop up that lays it all out pretty well. Starting poorly and finishing well scores more points that starting well and finishing well.

The bonus gives some value to the guys at the back of the field, if you see someone back there and you think they're going to move up a bunch of places, put him on your roster. The bonus points seem to make more difference than some of us expected.

Paul Menard scored 60 points with the bonus, I'm pretty sure he was the best driver to have, Jr close behind with 55.

A lot of season left. If you want to do some research, I use http://www.driveraverages.com/ (it doesn't always help though :D )

After I realized there WERE bonus points, I've paid a LOT of attention to it!

yeah its gona be tough because your mind defaults to whoever runs up front or has the most top 5's/10's/wins is who to go with, even maybe who qualifies up front. guess i figured out now who to put as a captain though.
