I'm pretty well done with NASCAR.

The last few seasons have lost me. Convenient yellow flags to tighten up the field (and make sure certain drivers are near the front) plus cookie cutter cars and tracks have pretty much done it for me. It's all about the sponsor money and little about anything resembling competition anymore.

Disappointing.

Me too. I used to really enjoy the races. I'll probably watch the 500 or at least keep up with it.

You lasted longer then me. I gave up back in 2006. I occasionally watch the big races, Daytona 500, the 600 etc. I've never been a huge fan of the new points system to be honest. I feel like it was a terrible attempt by Nascar to match the NFL and their playoffs. With that said, this always was a fun time of the year with practices and the new paint schemes appearing. So I understand the anticipation.

I've been a fan since it was a little boy, growing up in Bristol Tennessee....I can't give up on it, no matter how NASCAR changes what they do now that I'm 58. I wouldn't make me feel right

I must say though, it was a lot better before DE died

I gave up in 06 too...too many Jimmie wins and then too many Kyle wins...
