He was driving much faster than he needed to be. He and his team knew there was something seriously wrong with the driveline. They showed them checking it out in the pits before he crashed.

Well yeah, he wasn't entirely at fault but that doesn't mean we can't make fun of him...

But of them are both very lucky! An accident like that could have easily killed both JPM and the driver of the truck had all that jet fuel ignited at the initial impact. Someone was definitely looking out for them.

Yeah but he was not driving any faster than any other driver would have been in the same situation. It was just an unfortunate failure.

I'm glad I didn't DVR this damn thing, just "expecting" that throwing an extra hour on the end would get it all.
