Don't count out a nice wagon. Audi, VW, Subaru, and a few others have some nice rides. I'm strongly considering trying to convince my wife she needs a sporty little wagon next time. All the space of an SUV with the MPG of a car.

Sent quietly from this sorority girl's closet. Keep it down.

Exactly my thought process. There is an awesome Subaru Impreza WRX Wagon in my apartment complex that I'm in love with. It is silver with the gun metal wrx wheels.

I didn't test an Impreza, so I don't know if the seats would do the same thing, but my Outback will scoot the seats WAY back. If the Impreza can do the same, you should have enough leg room to fit comfortably..

You will be hard pressed to find a WRX with under 100k and beat to hell for $10k, but it would be a fun little car!

Yeah, they have a bar of gold hidden in them somewhere just like Jeeps do.

Yeah I mean I'd pay a little more for something I really want/like.

For some reason I've really been drawn to wagons recently

Don't get a Ford Focus. I'm 6'4" and the one I bought last month to DD has nowhere near enough leg room.
my dad has a Focus and he's 6'5".

Id personally get a Fusion. I like the looks of the pre-'13 (hate the '13) and theyre pretty good cars. Id look for a 4 cylinder 5 speed.
