I've started my own little dirt bike project. An older 1986 Honda XR100R.

Added a gas tank and new fuel lines today.
Also got it to officially run this afternoon. Once I get the carb overflow issue resolved it'll be fun.

Not bad for a total of 4 hours over two days working on it.

I'll probably start a build thread in a little while. Got it monday and haven't had much time until today. Luckily I'm good at planning ahead.

Yeah, and this is my first bike so it was really nice getting everything working well enough to run. At first it made a super thick cloud of blue smoke and I was thinking it was the piston ring (the previous owner warned me of) but as I run it the cloud has been thinning out. I think part of the problem is the float or something because the carb is overflowing.

Many 4stroke bike smoke when they first start up...not to worry.Sometimes oil can seep down into the combustion chamber after sitting a while, after it warms up a little it should be fine. That carb is pretty simple and easy to rebuild.I'd go to a local Honda shop & get a rebuild kit for it.Pick up some new oil too,it needs to be changed after sitting.Oh,and another thing...get a new air filter for it.I have a repair manual for it so if you have a question please ask, maybe I can help

I dont think I ever put up pictures of this before its a 2002 Bombardier DS 650 Baja I sold it a couple years ago when I got into street bikes which are going in the spring lol I miss quads and dirtbikes way more fun and safer.

This thing was a blast of course it wasnt stock:naughty: had a 720 big bore kit, yoshi pipe(LOUD LOUD LOUD) cdi box, geared down, aluminum red label wheels, razor tires, carbon fiber clutch kit and its seems like something else but I can't remeber It was the fastest quad I ever rode. Would pull the front end off the ground in 4th gear at 60mph.

The guy I bought it from put all the gay stickers all over it
