Oh and did you have the passenger air bag switch? If so how did you replace it's light?

I didn't do a write up since Thunderstruck already did one, but he didn't include pics. I may do one with pics.Oh and did you have the passenger air bag switch? If so how did you replace it's light?
I dont have a passenger airbag switch since I have a Suburban. Only trucks came with those. And Sorry, I don't have any pics of my guages. I might take some in the next day or two when I get some time. I might just go ahead and and pop out the cluster and take some pics to do a "write up" on how to swap the bulbs. All you have to do is buy 6 LED bulbs (194 size) and 6 194 twist lock bulb bases, then swap out the 6 bulbs in the guage cluster.I didn't do a write up since Thunderstruck already did one, but he didn't include pics. ScottyBoy, if I wanted to do this with white LED's but I didn't want it to be any brighter than they are now, how would I go about that? I love the clean light of LED's but I also like the lights to be subtle like they are now.

Don't some places make direct replacements for the cluster lights? I swear I have seen them.![]()

The main bulbs on 99-02 clusters are 194's. There are some indicator bulbs that are 74's though.Okay, I looked up which bulbs were for my cluster and it said the 74's. Did the post-02's switch to 194's?
Ask J-rod, he said he did his.
Okay, I looked up which bulbs were for my cluster and it said the 74's. Why would you use 194's instead?
And stop editing your posts.
Okay, so I'd need 74's but you've only found a way to replace with LED's via the 194 so far, correct?
Here's a linki to the 74's (at the bottom of the page): http://www.superbrightleds.com/cgi-bin/store/index.cgi?action=DispPage&Page2Disp=/instrument.html
Where are you seeing this 74 crap?
