has any one here changed the cluster on a 2007 2500hd new body style with pics or a how to(tried search but it came up empty)

Are you trying to do just the bulbs or replace the whole cluster?

Is it the GMT800 or the GMT900 ??

I have done literally dozens of the GMT800 clusters. They area piece of cake. I even did a write up on here.

The clusters in the GMT900's aren't quite as easy. They come from the factory with LEDs already in them. They are the super tiny SMT LEDs. And they have 4 pins instead of two. I tried to do a GMT900 cluster but I was not satisfied with the end result. One day I will try it again and use the tiny 4 pin LEDs, basically use the same LED but just a different color. The factory ones put off an ugly teal green color.

mines a 900 i just dont like the way the lights blend and the 4x4 knob light blows u really gota look to see if its in 2wd or 4wd

Yeah man same thing!! I have an avalanche, 2009, GMT900 platform, how hard is it? I wanna put in some ambers in there, and what about the DIC? How do I swap that to amber? Cuz I wanna put amber led in the footwells, and then have the radiobe amber. I have also been thinking about doing something like a custom CCFL dah surround or something as well
