My wife works in payroll for the school district (one of the top districts in the state, and MN is known for having good education). She works in payroll and she sees school teachers who do not have clue how to use proper grammar or punctuation in their e-mails. Some are even English teachers.

Makes me wonder if they are really that stupid or just lazy?

Either way, it's just sad.

Agreed, but I think it's just laziness. I know I don't proofread most of what I write on a daily basis. Some of it's laziness. Some of it is just being in too big of a hurry to respond to one thing and move on to something else.
