Just Put on a Flowmaster Force 10, now with sound clip!

I just put on a flowmaster force 10 race muffler. 3 inch in and 3 inch out. It replaced a stock muffler. Used the stock tail pipe, no chrome tip no bling added.

I love the way the muffler fits and is hidden after the install.

The sound is awsome!! I love it, it has nice growl and it speaks to you at higher RMP's. The idle sounds excellent, it has a nice rumble and growl, sounds very muscle car sounding.....if that makes sence.

I have had flowmasters before and they do get that drone but it has never bothered me. This does not have much drone at all, in fact if the afm was tuned off I don't think it would not drone at all.

I can't sa for sure but I tihnk my RPM's dropped. I am almost positive they were at about 2000 RMP at 70 MPH, they are now at about 1700-1800 RPM at 70MPH ?? I have 3:42 gears and 20 inch factory wheels and tires.

Paid $150.00 installed out the door with tax.

Pretty sure it's single chamber muffler, just happend to drive by the place and they had sign with the muffler that said $150.00 installed. Thought what the hell. Guy told me if I did not like it he would reinstall in the stock muffler and charge me nothing!!

For a full blown performance application I don't know who well it would work but on my truck it sure does the job for awsome sound.

The RPM thing has me little miffed. I would not think a muffler would enable change like that, but I am almost positive they have dropped 200-300 RPM at 70 MPH???

A simple muffler swap can't drop your RPM's like that. He would have had to install a taller gear set when you weren't looking for it to drop that much.

Glad you enjoy it. :tmc:

1700rpm is typical for 3.42 gears. 3.73 = 2000 rpms with stock tire.

When you get a load on it, or pull a trailer, the drone will surely show up
