meh, I am not buying the salt as an excuse. The truck has 57K miles for Christ's sake.

Yes, it is 7 years old, but my last 2 trucks I owned longer and they did not have these issues.

I blame GM's cost cutting and sourcing cheap Chinese parts (i.e. ball joints and rotors) during the pre-bankruptcy years when this truck was being developed.

Lol, my '06 is in better shape than your POS and has twice as many miles. You better trade it in.

Ha! Jeff's truck sounds almost worse than my 240k mile '95. Just saying...

Jeff, pm me your contact info. I'd love to help you sell your truck. I'd rather see you in a f150 or ram and I am sure that a good majority of members would love to see you in that new truck to save us from your whining...

Heck, I don't care what he gets into, maybe he'll mod it and give this place some content!!

Maybe even mod his current one...

97 with 197K on it.. damn oil pan gasket.. .whaaaaaa!!!

Seriously tho, I wonder what effects the winter ect has on it.

So far so good with g/f's 14 Sierra. Only issue we had so far is the reprogramming recalls.

The same effect it has on every other truck up here. :dunno:

If GM cannot make a truck to go more than 57K miles without these issues, even up here, then screw them.

Like I said, my last 2 trucks I owned for longer and many more miles and more winters.

You can look at it this way.....hopefully at some point all the bad things will have been repaired and you'll have a good, dependable truck. You said earlier it's cheaper to fix this one than to go buy a new one,I agree

My old burb has been running pretty good for quite a while and I now find myself looking for things to do since I'm not working on it.

Maybe I should get a boat, miss my old Thunderbird :dunno:

Catch-22... If they could make it to your house they wouldn't be needing work. :D2
