I'm posting this because my daughter and I have hit the same monster. She got the worse end of it, as it broke her trans axle.

Hopefully insurance can take care of it. Living in Pa for 18 years and visiting my parents I understand how bad pot holes can get.

I'll tell you, as big as that damn pot hole was, you just don't see it until "BAM". As far as the car goes, I ain't fixing it. It's already been towed to a shop.

We both hit it at night. I had to go pick them up around 10PM the night they hit it. A cop was already on the scene and called a tow truck. That tow was out of pocket. I could have used my AAA card, but no.
