I have picked up stuff 20-25 miles away but it would be more with the right equipment.. I had a radio shack cb.. I need to cash in some of my truck stop points for a real cb Radio and receiver... You can pick up signals from 40-50 miles...

There are guys around here with bean poles.. Instead of chatting in the forum they hang out at there houses chatting on the cb

Yeah I knew a few people who had home CB set-ups but they are few and far between anymore.

Every time Lowe's gets a shipment of more than 7 John Deere riding mowers, a service technician has to come out and put them together for the warranty to be in effect. Any other mower like Husqvarna, Troybilt, or Bolens we get to put together, so thats probably who that was.
Our tech that comes and does ours had a JD green utility truck like you see groundsmen for a college or security drive around in. It was pretty bad-A
