Installed Spline lugs!

I like them, but what do you use to get them off? A regular socket? I've never seen these before.

They use a univerisal socket that comes with the lugs.

So you'll have to take that socket with you whenever a shop works on your wheels/brakes then. What happens if you loose or break it??

Probably just have to tighten it.

Most shops carry their own. I know every place I have taken my truck has their own or you just leave yours in the cab and they will use it and put it back.

I have the Gorilla brand spline drive lugs on my wifes car. My wife messed up the tool and one of the lugs by trying to loosen it when it wasn't fully seated. I already had a missing lug and another 3 damaged ones last year when a dumbass at the wheel shop used an impact wrench on it after I not only told him not to, but he swore to me that he would not.
I priced a new tool and replacement lugs, and found it was cheaper to just order a new set for a 4 lug car. New tool and 16 lugs was about 30 bucks shipped from Summit racing. So I replaced all the bad lugnuts and still have a few new spares in my tool box.
