Fishing prop put its at 55mph with 3 people in it.... I've not had a speed prop on it with this motor .. But i had a older 150 merc and it would run 67mph with a speed prop.

When I worked on the water, our crew boat had two 150s and we had 17in props and it would haul ass.

I'm running a 14 1/4 inch 23 pitch Stainless Quicksilver.... Its a inbetween prop... I have a 21pitch that i use when doing trolling and heavy fishing... Or just going to pull a tube... ... And i used to run a 25pitch prop.. But it got into a fight with a rock damn.. And lost .. 500 dollar prop and 600 dollar lower unit ... Down the drain

Thanks... Its ok... Its pretty beat up, Works perfect for what i do with it lol... I'm pretty hard on equipment. In a few years i might find a different hull... Or refinish this one. Its needs alot of fiberglass work and repainted to look perfect. But its good for now......

We have Asian carp around here.. And they beat nice boats to pieces... I've got big deep cuts in my boat from them.

If you are gonna fish out of it, the last thing you want is a perfect finish anyway. That way you aren't upset when you bottom out or slide over a stump. Looks like a damn solid boat...

Yep it is!... Put a new floor and carpet in few months back... Fiberglassed the floor in..That sucked. I give 3 grand for the boat few years back. And ran it for 2 years with that motor. And then put this new one on. And new trailer. New lowrance depth finders.LED lights all in interior, Do alot of night fishing. Gets kind of expensive. But i don't care if i bang it up, or one of those damn asian carps jump in the boat.


I'd love to have a Gambler bass boat, But i would probably slit my wrist if it got beat up lol
