Went to pay off the cordless today and could not help my self. Something about being on that Snap On truck gets me all giddy inside. Here are the results of said giddyness.....

A boot cover for the impact and a 15in 80 tooth 1/2 dr flex head ratchet with comfort grip. Notice the screws are on the back where they used to be.

My best friend is a mechanic. He is always going to pay off tools. I don't think he has made it yet. Everytime he is on the truck he buys something else. Nice snags.

I am so glad they moved the screws back. I have a ratchet very similar with the screws in the bottom. I cannot get them to stay tight.

Man me and my Snap-On dealer had a love-hate relationship. That truck never left my shop without me buying more tools. Congrats.

Didn't we and you discuss this a few months ago? I think i recall you saying you were changing shops and getting a new SO guy.

I asked my dealer about the "new" style ratchets and at the time he had never heard of them changing it. He said to "fix" it he cleans the screws and the hole good and uses blue lock tight on them.

If you have a new dealer ask him about it. Maybe he'll warranty it for you with one of the new style ones.

If you don't mind me asking, about how expensive is that ratchet? I have been wanting one like that for quite a while. I could do without the flex head though, if they have one without it for less coin.
