Jarrod,

Back to the topic of LT headers....
I have had several sets of headers on street cars / trucks down thru the years.

The best ones I have had on street vehicles have had fairly small primary tubes. been equal length tubes and have had a pretty long collector.

Seems like the smaller primary tubes and long collector, gives more low to mid range torque and power... which is where we normally drive.

Bigger primary tubes and shorter collectors, move the usable HP on up the power band where it is not near as usable.

That is unless you keep it above 5 grand all time. :D

:werd: That's what's holding me back from getting a converter. Student loan stuff was messed up and I had to spend a bunch of $$$ out of pocket.

Why are you loaning students money? That would seem like a bad investment opportunity..?? :wtf:

That sounds like a good price. I paid $450 for my Jet Hot coated headers on my 65 Impala. My exhaust stinks and would imagine that putting cats on would clean it up, but then since I don't need them why put them on. I do have an X pipe. It also keeps the noise down over just regular duals.
