So, for the first time in my extensive pick up owning history, I want a bed cover. There are a ton of different options!

Last new truck, I again made the mistake of buying a canopy, after swearing I would never again waste the thousands of dollars on one. Never again!

So, even though I will probably get no feedback, I am posting here in hopes that someone will have some recent experience with the new bed covers.

Thanks in advance!

I got one that covers over the sides. I like it better than the ones that mount flush. It gives more room to put taller items in and keeps the bed dry. Here is with some mulch in the back. 40 bags. They were on sale for $2 each at Lowe's. Also, not sure why they are posting sideways. Anyone know how to correct it?

I have this one. It was on the truck when I got it but zero complaints. It’s dead quiet and does the job.

When you say canopy, are you meaning like a bed cap, camper shell type thing?

Thanks T, I will check that one out, too. I have been looking at the BakFlip online.

I wonder how all of these will now hold up.

My reason for NOT wanting one is how they look in 3 years. Some are just UV deteriorated disasters, or the snow got to them, etc.

We sell alot of the Truxedo Sentry CT covers at work. And they hold up really well and look good.

Mine was on the truck when new. It's 5 model years old and still looks exceptional.

It's a series of thin aluminum panels and it's very sturdy. The vinyl has held up wonderfully.
