Nick, I got a letter from Amsoil today saying they finally relocated the warehouse from Palmer to Anchorage :willy: About damn time, that was a pain in the ass to drive 40 miles for oil.

Luckily, I have an outside salesman that makes a weekly run that way, but still!

I got the news a few weeks ago. I was going to post it on here but figured you would have found out about it in your AMSOIL magazine at the same time I did. So much for my thoughts, next time news makes it out of AMSOIL I'll be sure to post it so everyone will know as soon as possible.

It is great that they did this, I know it helps out a ton.

I wish I lived closer to a distribution center.

It's not heaven . . . it's Iowa!
My OLM is really low. I might place an order today.

Just curious as to how low your OLM is reading now and how many mile are on that oil change.

I think the OLM is at 6% or 7%. It hasn't gone off yet. I just scheduled an oil change for her car, and thought maybe I was due.

Miles on the oil . . . can't remember. Just about 5500 would be my guess. :dunno:

OK, that is about average for most that I have talked to. Our 11 Acadia is at 5k when it gets down to 5%. Now the 08 Acadia would be at 8k at 5%.

I still have six quarts of OE, but I'll be using that up in a couple of weeks. I'm at a little over 4200 miles on the current oil. I'm going to try like hell and go to 5K instead of going by the OLM. :dunno: It usually comes on around this many miles.

You can do it Jeff, only 800 more miles.

The OLM came on a couple of days ago. I'll wait and change it next weekend. I have a little less than 500 miles to go before I hit 5K. :D

I got my case of Amsoil in last week. I decided to go back with the XL series. I am changing it way too often in my wife's car. Her car gets a lot more miles on it than mine does. She was at 6k miles since last oil change, and I am only at 3400 miles. With the XL Series, I can go 7500 miles easily between oil changes.
To give you an idea of how much more her car gets driven, we bought it in 2005 with 13 miles on it. Now it has 120k miles. I bought my Suburban in 06 with 52k miles on it. It now has just over 124k miles on it.
