I don't think you want a true AT on the 'Burb. If you want a decent compromise of noise, tread life and traction, I'd look at something like this: http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?tireMake=Yokohama&tireModel=Geolandar+H/T-S+G051

I have these on for my fall and winter tires and in wet grass, on wet roads, in the snow and in decent weather, they've performed very well with no issues.

And, in your size, they only run about $130 each.

Actually, I was leaning more towards these. :dunno:

AT's on a full-sized SUV just look odd to me as everyday tires.

Are you lifting yours? If not, that's not the same thing.

On a Z71, okay. On standard ones, no.

Perhaps. I might crank up the keys and see how it looks. I have been toying with the idea of a 3 inch lift. All I would need is lift spindles or lift keys and some spacers for the rear springs.

Even leveled, I'm not a fan.

If you want 3 inches, Keys aren't going to do it.

I'm with Mr. Right.

Personally I'd stick with a highway tire. At least thats what I did on the Suburban. A good sets of H/T's will stick to the road just as much as A/T's, and keep better mileage.

Those A/T's up front wont help you any either. Hell even in the rear...my Suburban has that traction control stuff and its VERY hard to get her to spin out lol.
